HS Wyandotte's Academic Team Meet @Commerce today. Team will be called out 7th hour. Good luck at the meet.

The Pre-ACT Test is for all Sophomores in the new gym tomorrow on October 9th. They will report to their 1st hour for attendance, and then we will call them to the new gym.
The test will begin as soon as all the students are seated and ready to go. The test should end before lunch. This will be a paper and pencil test.

On Wednesday, October 2nd, our Wyandotte BPA officers attended the Quality Chapter Meeting at Northeastern Tech. Surrounding BPA officers met their state officers and learned more about their roles and responsibilities. This was a great opportunity for our officer team to learn more about the BPA program!

Wyandottes Construction Class: Building an Awning!
Our students are hard at work constructing a new awning at the baseball field! Under Mr. Siegrist’s guidance, they’re gaining hands-on skills while collaborating on the design and assembly.

On Wednesday, September 25th, the Wyandotte sophomore class had the privilege of hosting representatives from the Upward Bound program. This visit provided an excellent opportunity for students to learn about the benefits of the program, which is designed to help high school students prepare for college. Wyandotte had two student representatives, Keynan Wilson and Kaylynn Millhollin, who spoke about their personal experiences with Upward Bound.

On September 30th at 3:30 PM, the BPA held an exciting Bingo Night in Mrs.Young's classroom. The event was a fantastic way for students to come together for an afternoon of fun, and games! As everyone arrived, the classroom was filled with laughter and chatter. Participants picked up their Bingo cards and enjoyed delicious snacks from the BPA chapter. It was a perfect opportunity to catch up with friends and make new connections.

Wyandotte FCCLA Officers attended the LEAD Conference on Tuesday, September 17th.
Officers were able to participate in fundraising, membership and community leadership workshops to help them become a better version of themselves.

🔵Free ACT for Seniors🔵
On October 1st at 8:10 AM, the ACT for seniors will be held in the New Gym. The ACT is free for all seniors who wish to raise his/her score. Make sure to bring your school-issued Chromebook and fully charge it the night before! There will be no writing portion on this test.

🎭✨ This week, Ms. Londagin's 9th Grade Honors English class transformed into the Montagues and Capulets, diving into the world of Romeo and Juliet! 💔 Students wore Renaissance-inspired masks, embodying the iconic families locked in a blood feud. The dramatic moment at the Capulet party brought Romeo and Juliet’s love story to life! Can you feel the tension?

Jostens will be on campus on September 26, 2024, in the gym! Seniors can meet at 11:00 AM for cap & gown information. Juniors and sophomores, your session for class rings will begin at 11:25 AM. Don’t miss it!

Wyandotte Public Schools Picture Day will be on Friday, September 20th. Students PreK-11th grade received an order form last week for photos. Seniors will be ordered proofs that students will receive a few weeks after picture day. Retakes for all grades will be available on Wednesday, October 30th for any student that misses pictures on September 20th.

There will be a FCCLA Blood Drive on Thursday, September 13, 2024. The FCCLA Blood Drive will be held in the gym! Students can sign up in Mrs. Siegrist's room.
