Today is lunch hero’s day. This year it is celebrated a little differently… during this crisis, the cafeteria workers and maintenance have teamed up and served over 11,400 meals to kiddos in the area. Children still participated by giving special cards through the drive through food line, thanking everyone for all they do. I am so proud of the team effort and all of the hard work they have put in through this time. A special thank you to Troy for helping make our luncheon from Olive Garden a success!!! Beginning Tuesday, March 24th we provide a meal pick up program for children and community individuals 18 years of age and younger. There is no cost for these meals. The drive through pick up will be in front of the HS from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. daily. Individuals will receive a lunch for that day and a breakfast for the following day. Currently, according to Federal Child Nutrition guidelines, all individuals must be present to receive meals. We will analyze the success of this program and adjust accordingly. Hope you are having a great Spring Break. - Troy Gray Superintendent #BFND

I will continue to relay information as it becomes available and inform you about local decisions impacting your students. Enjoy your Spring Break and GO BEARS! -Superintendent Troy Gray #BFND
