Why do we celebrate president's day? Presidents Day is a federal holiday in the United States, celebrated on the third Monday of February. The holiday was originally established to honor President George Washington's birthday. While federal and state offices are closed, many businesses, including retail stores and restaurants, remain open.

Gifted and talented The students, all part of a gifted and talented program, had been tasked with coming up with an innovative way to rescue Fred using only a few everyday objects: paper clips, a cup, and a life preserver. It wasn’t just about coming up with any solution; it was about working together, thinking critically.
