Congratulations to the 24-25 Wyandotte Support Staff Member of the Year, Mr. Chris Turner!
Chris Turner has been named Support Staff of the Year in recognition of his dedication and hard work. Known for his positive attitude and problem-solving skills, Chris consistently goes above and beyond to support both students and staff, making a lasting impact on the school community.
🖤Chris always comes through! Whether I'm calling him because I can't figure out how to put a shelf together or because I've lost my staple gun again, he always answers and always has a solution. I have also spent 2 days a week on bus duty with Chris. Almost every elementary, middle, and high school student who gets off the bus goes out of their way to say "Hi, Chris!" or my personal favorite, "Hi, Christina!" because they all know who Chris is and he knows them by their names as well. He may be a "sloot", but he does a great job! :)
🖤Chris is always here when needed. If I ask him for something he will do without question.
🖤Chris could easily win this award every year. He works hard, is relied upon heavily by this district, and wears a lot of hats. We rely on him as a maintenance professional who can do anything from building to maintaining facilities and everything in between. His role as the assistant chief of the fire department is taken advantage of heavily by the district, as he is frequently the first contact when there is an emergency issue, medical issue, or a drill that needs emergency personnel as a liaison. Spend 5 minutes with him at the bus drop off in the morning and you'll also see he's one of the most favorite people for our elementary students, middle school students, and high school students to see. You can also just walk around the campus and see improvements that have been made, many of which he's done single-handedly.
Help us congratulate our Wyandotte Support Staff Member of the Year, Chris Turner!
