Wyandotte High School Juniors Attend ACT Workshop with Chad Cargill
Wyandotte High School's junior class recently had the opportunity to participate in an ACT workshop led by Chad Cargill, a renowned speaker and ACT expert. The workshop, designed to help students improve their scores through practical strategies, provided valuable insights into test-taking techniques, time management, and question analysis.
Cargill, who famously retook the ACT 18 times to achieve a top score, shared his firsthand experience with the exam, breaking down the test in a way that made it more approachable for students. His engaging and interactive teaching style kept students involved as he covered key areas such as pacing, guessing strategies, and the importance of understanding test patterns.
The workshop aligns with Wyandotte High School’s ongoing efforts to support students in their academic and college-readiness goals. With the ACT being a critical component of college admissions and scholarship opportunities, the skills and knowledge gained from Cargill’s session will undoubtedly benefit students as they approach their test dates.
As the juniors continue their preparation, the school encourages them to implement what they’ve learned, practice consistently, and aim for their best possible scores!
