National FFA Week

National FFA Week is an annual event in February to celebrate and promote the National FFA Organization and agricultural education. It typically occurs around George Washington’s birthday to honor his connection to agriculture. During this week, FFA chapters across the country engage in various activities to raise awareness about the importance of agriculture, showcase the value of FFA membership, and highlight the impact of agricultural education on communities.

The Wyandotte FFA Chapter has planned a variety of activities to celebrate National FFA Week. The week kicks off on Sunday, February 16, with members attending Miami First Christian Church in official FFA dress. On Monday, February 17, they will host Elementary Ag Day, followed by the officers heading to the state capital on Tuesday, February 18. Wednesday, February 19, features the Ag Olympics at Fairland from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. On Thursday, February 20, they will hold a Thank a Farmer Breakfast from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. Finally, Friday, February 21, will be dedicated to Teacher Trivia all day. The Wyandotte FFA is excited and ready for a fun and action-packed week!
