SYATP

On Wednesday, September 25th, SMAC organized a powerful See You at the Pole event, gathering students and faculty for a morning of prayer and fellowship. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of community and purpose as participants came together to seek guidance and strength through prayer. Anson Jackson led the worship while Matt Robertson led the devotion.

Karson Smith kicked things off by encouraging us to pray for our nation and government, including our president and officials. He reminded us how important it is to support our leaders and ask for their wisdom.

Kali Watkins followed up by asking us to pray for our school. She focused on the administration, teachers, bus drivers, and everyone who helps us learn. Her message highlighted how much they do for us every day.

Jayce Kihenia then shifted our focus to the Wyandotte Community, urging us to pray for unity and strength among our neighbors. His call reminded us that we’re all in this together.

Makenzi Carriger took us global, asking us to pray for students all over the world. She pointed out that many students in other countries face huge challenges, like lack of religious freedom and hunger. It was a powerful reminder to think beyond our school and support those in need.

Finally, Rilynn Stewart encouraged us to pray for our families and friends. She expressed a desire for SYATP to inspire us to share the Gospel with our peers and ignite a spiritual awakening in our community. Her passion for spreading faith really struck a chord with everyone.

As the event drew to a close, Karson Smith thanked everyone for their participation and Wayside Assembly Church supplying breakfast. He expressed gratitude to the administration and staff for their unwavering support of SYATP. Karson also extended an invitation to all attendees to join the SMAC meetings every Tuesday morning at 7:30 am, encouraging students to continue fostering their faith and community engagement.

The SYATP event was a heartfelt reminder of the power of collective prayer and the importance of supporting one another in faith, both within the school and beyond. Through their united voices, students not only prayed for themselves but also for their nation, community, and fellow students around the world.
