Val Gidden from Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology came to share with the Wyandotte aviation students what college and career pathways are available to them in Tulsa, OK.
She described the pathways and program requirements for AMT (Aviation Maintenance Technology), AET (Aviation Electronics Technology), Aviation in Flight, and a Bachelor’s program in Technology Management. In addition to describing these programs, she shared how Spartan introduces students to future employers and facilitates job opportunities.
Our students asked many relevant questions and were engaged in the learning opportunity. Val was an enthusiastic speaker and brought samples of materials and products that were used in aircraft design. We hope to have juniors and seniors take a tour of Spartan in the spring.
