Chief Leaford Bearskin Aviation Academy Receives Donations

Chief Leaford Bearskin Aviation Academy acquires a Redbird MX flight simulator worth an estimated $85,000 thanks to a generous donation from an anonymous donor. Early in the school year, the donor reached out to the aviation program directors and offered a simulator that they had in their possession that they wanted to see used to help students towards reaching their dreams of obtaining a pilot's license.

The Redbird team coordinated with the WPS maintenance and transportation specialists, Brandon Bartley and Chris Turner, along with a few willing students, who assisted in the disassembly and moving of the unit. The simulator was in pristine condition with very few logged miles.

This benevolent gift of the Redbird MX2 simulator allows our aviation students to log flight hours that will be applied towards their personal pilot's license required hours. The MX2 simulator is an FAA approved Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) with full-motion training. The donor was thrilled to share their love and passion for flying with the WHS aviation students in our community. Their charitable gift enables our students to get one step closer to flight and we couldn't be more excited to make this dream happen.

A generous cash donation in the amount of $5,000 was presented to Chief Leaford Bearskin Aviation Academy by Tseena Enterprises, LLC. owner George S. Briscoe, III.
